● SKUNK NOTES
The “Fresh-wave” project was jointly completed by me and the local studio Kunso in Chengdu. The whole IP project is mainly composed of VI, illustration and Interior design.
“Fresh-wave” is a well-known river fresh restaurant in Dujiangyan, Sichuan, which has a history of nearly 40 years, our client’s requirements are to repackage and upgrade the brand, to realize an internationalized brand concept of Chinese cuisine, therefore, we used the illustration of the combination of Japanese Ukiyoe and Chinese ink painting as the main visual elements, then I extracted them to extend to all kinds of catering materials, furthermore,I made the effect picture according to the client's requirements for the brand.
The design of logo adopts an intuitive combination of Chinese and English,and used the traditional handwritten style in the font selection, added the Chinese characters “Fresh-wave” to show it with the official script seal.
